Pricing

How we charge for IT.

Most MSP websites hide pricing entirely because their billing structure is hard to defend in writing. Ours isn't. Here is exactly how it works.

The model in one sentence

Flat monthly fee, per-device, with a defined block of support hours included. Anything outside that block, we tell you the cost before we start.

What that means in practice

  • Your monthly invoice is predictable

The base managed-IT fee is the same number every month. It scales when you add or remove devices. It does not change because we worked harder one month than another. You can budget IT like you budget rent.

  • Support hours are included in the contract

The hours cover the day-to-day: helpdesk calls, monitoring, patching, security, vendor management, on-site service within the Anchorage bowl. Most managed clients never come close to using all their hours in a given month.

  • Project work is quoted separately, before it starts

Office moves, M365 migrations, server retirements, network rebuilds — these are projects with a fixed scope and a fixed price. You see the number before you commit. No "we ended up needing more time" phone calls at the end of the month.

  • No emergency rate, no after-hours surcharge for managed clients

If your network goes down at 9pm on a Saturday, the response is the same as a Tuesday morning. That is what the managed contract is for.

  • Software licenses come with a transparent margin

Microsoft 365 is licensed through our Pax8 distribution agreement. Google Workspace is licensed directly from Google. Huntress, 1Password, and other tools come through their respective channels. Each license carries a small reseller margin that funds the operational work behind the support — license-conflict troubleshooting, security policy enforcement, tenant administration, and vendor escalation when something goes wrong. Your invoice itemizes the licenses separately so you always see what you're paying for.

  • Hardware is quoted with a stated margin

If you need a switch, access point, or workstation, we quote vendor cost plus a clearly disclosed margin that covers procurement, configuration, warranty management, and shipping handling. If you'd rather buy the hardware yourself and have us configure it, we'll quote that scenario too. The economics rarely favor that path on networking gear because of warranty handling, but for a single workstation it sometimes does. We'll tell you which is which.

  • No hidden fees

Setup fees for standard onboarding: zero. Travel fees within the Anchorage bowl: zero. After-hours emergency response for managed clients: included. The fees that do exist (Mat-Su or remote-site travel time, project work, license overages, hardware) are quoted in writing before they happen. The contract has no auto-renewal price increases.

Why we don't publish a number on this page

Per-device pricing varies by device count, complexity, and what is included. A 12-person professional services firm with all-Microsoft 365 endpoints is a different number than a 30-person trucking operation with on-premises servers, fleet phones, and warehouse networking. Anyone who quotes a number sight-unseen is making it up. After a 30-minute conversation we can give you a real range. After the free IT Health Check we can give you an exact monthly fee.

A typical Anchorage SMB engagement

Most of our managed clients are between 10 and 50 endpoints (computers, phones, servers combined). The contract is 12 months with month-to-month renewal after the first year. There is no setup fee for the standard onboarding. Onboarding takes 2-4 weeks and runs in parallel with normal support — your team does not lose a day to the transition.
